DKI PPKM Level 1, Transjakarta Extends Operational Hours Until 22.00 WIB
JAKARTA - Transjakarta has extended its bus service operating hours until 22.00 WIB. This is in accordance with the government's decision on the status of PPKM Jakarta which was lowered to level 1.
PT Transjakarta Director of Operations Prasetia Budi said that this policy will take effect from Wednesday, November 3 until further decisions are made.
"Operational hours will be extended to 05.00-22.00 WIB, which previously operated from 05.00-21.30 WIB during the PPKM level 2 period," Prasetia said in a statement, Wednesday, November 3.
Currently, Transjakarta is also implementing a passenger carrying capacity of 100 percent on all services, both bus rapid transit (BRT), non-BRT, Royaltrans, to Microtrans services.
However, Prasetya said that Transjakarta continued to implement strict health protocols, both at the bus stop and at the bus stop.
"In this case, customers are required to show proof of having vaccinated against COVID-19 to officers either through the PeduliLindung application, JAKI or using a certificate document that has been printed or digitally via their respective cellphones before entering the bus stop gate, wearing a mask, and taking measurements. body temperature," explained Prasetia.
Transjakarta also adjusts the number of fleets. Other Transjakarta routes and services that were temporarily suspended in an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19 will also be gradually re-operated.
"This is to ensure that customers still feel safe and comfortable. Even if we go down a level, we must not be careless. Our bus stop service officers are ready to make sure everything goes according to applicable rules," he concluded.
