Responding To Rumors Willing To Handle Newcastle, Unai Emery: No Offer!
JAKARTA - Villarreal's preparations ahead of Young Boys' Champions League match on Tuesday night, were disrupted by rumors linking coach Unai Emery with a move to Newcastle United.
However, the Yellow Submarine squad managed to put those rumors aside and focus on the task at hand. As a result, they won 2-0.
After the game, Emery spoke more about his future in his comments to journalist Jamie Kemble.
"No offer (from Newcastle)!" he said launching Football Espana.
"I'm concentrating on Villarreal and I'm happy," he continued.

However, the former Arsenal coach left the door open. He admits there is interest from Newcastle and if there is an offer, he will discuss it with Villarreal officials first.
Villarreal itself is currently second in Group F with 7 points, having the same points as Manchester United who are at the top.
While surviving in Europe, Villarreal performed poorly in La Liga and sit 13th in the standings.
