MNC Bank Owned By Conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo Supports Smart Credit Loans And Atome For Paylater Services
JAKARTA - PT Bank MNC International Tbk. It is said that it has tied up cooperation with online peer-to-peer lending company PT Kredit Pintar Indonesia (Kredit Pintar) and PT Atome Finance Indonesia (Atome) regarding the expansion of digital financial services.
Bank MNC Business Director Denny Hanubrata said the virtual financial industry still has great potential for growth. Therefore, this strategic collaboration is considered able to encourage the company's business to be more expansive.
"We are enthusiastic about this collaboration. In line with MNC Bank's vision to become a future bank based on the latest technology, this is a real step to increase financial accessibility and inclusion in Indonesia," he said in a press statement, Tuesday, November 2.
According to Denny, the latest synergy will strengthen the company's steps to increase financial inclusion broadly.
"Bank MNC has previously established similar collaborations with other peer-to-peer lending platforms to channel funds to the public," he said.
On the same occasion, CEO of Atome Financial Indonesia Wawan Salum revealed that there are still many business opportunities in the digital banking world that have not been explored.
"We are taking this step in line with our commitment to support the government's program to accelerate financial inclusion through safe, convenient, and fast digital-based financial services to the Indonesian people at large," he said.
It was reported that Bank MNC is committed to disbursing fresh funds to two legal creditors, Kredit Pintar and Atome, to develop digital and PayLater financing products.
Meanwhile, Bank MNC, which is a business entity owned by conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo, is targeting a market share of 71 percent of the Indonesian people and tens of millions of MSMEs that have not or have difficulty getting access to credit.
MNC Bank itself already has a digital application service called MotionBanking. Through this MotionBanking, a subsidiary of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk. The company tries to reach a deeper market niche by cooperating with several online loan companies.
