Still Don't Believe Children Can Be Exposed To COVID-19? The Proof, Nycta Gina's Child Is Positive

JAKARTA - Many still doubt that children can also be exposed to COVID-19. In fact, in Indonesia the rate of transmission of COVID-19 in children is quite high. One of the proofs is that Nycta Gina's first child, role model Adhya Semesta Trinycta, is infected with COVID-19.

Through her Instagram account, Rizky Kino's wife tells the chronology. At first, the baby whose nickname was Uta had a cold to fever. Out of concern, Nycta Gina took the initiative to do a swab test.

"Because of the situation, I finally decided to do PCR on the 28th, and then the result was positive... and because the main was positive. And because the main was positive, we were all in the same house in the PCR and at that time Uti was also sick and the symptoms were exactly the same as Uta, fever, cough, cold... but I don't know how, thank God our swabs were all negative... only uta was positive," wrote Nycta on Instagram @missnyctagina, which has been verified, quoted on Wednesday, July 14.

Out of pity for the young children, they finally decided to do total self-isolation. All families are in isolation and follow protocols even though they are at home.

"In the end, we decided, okay, let's just give up and just be together for 2 weeks with uta... even if it ends up being infected, it's kind of sincere... but still trying, at home 24 hours wearing a mask except eating and bathing, even sleeping with a mask... fogging every day the house, spraying disinfectant… yes as much as we can do the best we can so we don't get infected," he explained.

Currently, they have finished self-isolation for two weeks. Not wanting to think about where the COVID-19 virus came from, Nycta Gina just wants to take lessons. "When asked where did you get the transmission from? I really don't know… so the lesson is that you always take care of yourself, go through the process and pray… may we all always be healthy, amen," he concluded.
