Premier League Club Agrees To Heavy Sanctions For Supporters Who Enter The Field Without A Permit

JAKARTA - Premier League clubs are taking firm steps to overcome supporters who often enter the field. All clubs agreed to make rules that are believed to have a deterrent effect.

Premier league club agreed to impose severe sanctions on football supporters who enter the field while there is a match. They will be barred from entering the stadium for at least one year.

It applies both to home matches and away for their favorite team.

This sanction also applies to fans who use smoke bombs or other fireworks. All of them will be automatically suspended for 12 months.

The ban was also imposed on parents or guardians who could not take care of their children, causing chaos in the stadium while watching football.

This policy was produced at a meeting of England's top clubs in London on Wednesday. This rule will take effect when the Premier League starts rolling again on October 1-2.

"At today's Premier League Shareholders Meeting, the clubs unanimously agreed to apply a minimum long ban on supporters who take part in anti-social and criminal behavior in stadiums," the Premier League said in a statement as quoted by Antara from AFP, Thursday, September 22, 2022.

"Suporters caught carrying or setting off fireworks or smoke bombs, or entering the field without a permit, will automatically be banned by their clubs for a minimum period of one year," the statement continued.
