A Gang Of Robbers Confiscates Two Cellphones Belonging To A Motorcycle Passenger In Cipayung, East Jakarta

JAKARTA - Cipayung Police Chief AKP Bayu Marfiando spoke about the video of the mobile phone robbery that went viral on social media. Bayu said that his party is currently following up on the incident.

In the video, a gang of robbers confiscates two cellphones belonging to the driver and the motorbike pillion. The incident is known to have occurred in Cilangkap Baru, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

There are three known victims of robbery, two of them are women and one is a man.

"The two cellphones (which were stolen). The perpetrator took out a sickle, oh my, I'm afraid," said one of the women who was suspected of being the victim of a robbery.

Narrated in the video, there were three victims, consisting of one male and two female.

"The perpetrator managed to take the victim's cellphone by threatening to use a sickle and immediately ran away," wrote the account narration.

AKP Bayu explained that he had asked his members to investigate the crime scene (TKP) and visit the victim's house.
