WhatsApp Will Launch Voice Chat Features On IOS And Android

JAKARTA WhatsAppakan launched a new feature for chatting inside the group without disturbing many members. From The Verge report, this feature will be released in the coming weeks.

This feature with the name Voice Chat or Voice Chat is not much different from voice calls. Both can be followed by 32 people, but notifications and views of these two features are different.

Voice calls are actually quite annoying for members who don't open groups and are focused on their activities. The reason is, their phone will ring as if they were on a regular phone call.

When using the Voice Chat feature, all members' phones won't ring. Instead, WhatsApp will show a notification to join the chat, either via notification or via a bubble in the chat.

To enable this feature is actually easy. After the feature is released globally to all iOS and Android users, users can find the speaker icon at the top of the screen, to be precise next to the group name.

This icon can be immediately tapped until the Voice Chat option appears. Before the feature is turned on, WhatsApp will give a warning that other users may not be aware of voice chats because their phone is not ringing.

As long as Voice Chats are enabled, all members can still share messages without being obstructed by feature displays. The only shortcoming of this feature is the scale that is too large. That is, this feature can only be used in groups with 33 to 128 members.
