JAKARTA - Samsung has finally announced the One UI 6.0 beta program for the Galaxy S23 series. The new Operating System (OS) is based on Android 14, and offers many new features.

One UI 6.0 adopts a simpler design, by presenting modern displays and nuances on the User Interface (UI).

The latest elements include additional font defaults and emojis on Samsung's Keyboard. The Quick Panel now also has a new look and instant access option, where users can easily access the most common features, such as screen visibility and settings.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series users can now choose how long their phone cameras will take and process images.

The camera application at One UI 6.0 offers three further options, namely Maximum, Moderate, and Minimum. This option only applies to stationary images.

Maximum is the default option, and prioritizes image quality over capture and processing speeds.

Medium sets a good balance between image quality and capture speed, while Minimum prioritizes camera speed over quality.

For the best image quality, users must select the Maximum option, although the camera app is a little slower.

The three options can be accessed by the user by navigating to the Camera click Settings then Advanced Intelligence Options then click on the desired option.

Samsung also presents a new custom camera widget that can be used to select camera mode and photo storage location.

In addition, One UI 6.0 also brings more adjustment options, where users can set different key screens according to Mode and Routines.

Finally, the company is also increasing productivity and security features in the latest update. With One UI 6.0, users can complete their daily tasks faster and securely, thereby increasing their productivity.

Currently One UI 6.0 beta has just been launched for the markets of the United States (US), Germany, and South Korea. For other areas, it said Samsung would soon follow. This was quoted from XDA Developers and Sam Mobile, Saturday, August 12.
