JAKARTA - After years of being a demand for many users, Google has finally launched a new translation tool to Gmail in the mobile app.

"Starting today, we are excited to announce the integration of the original translation in the mobile Gmail app that will allow you to communicate calmly in various languages," Google said in an announcement on its blog workspace, Tuesday, August 8.

So, this translation feature is now not only available for the web version of Gmail, but also Gmail in the mobile app.

So, if you want to translate a Gmail message in a mobile application, before the body message, Gmail will show the 'Translate to' tab. In addition, Google is also preparing an original show tool to make it to a message with the language it originally used.

If you want to change the translation language, press the gear logo (settings) to choose more than 100 other supported output languages.

"This strongly requested feature will help users read and understand conversations in any language," said Google.

Translation in Gmail for Android has been launched as of today and beyond, while the iOS version will come in the coming weeks. This feature is available to all Google Workspace and personal Google users.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
