Furthermore, the company also said that, with Tap to Pay through Venmo, small businesses in the US will be able to start receiving contactless cards and digital wallets in a matter of minutes, directly on their mobile devices without additional hardware.

"Tap to Pay is the final milestone in direct card payment democratization, where users can start accepting card payments without preparation fees in a matter of minutes," said Ed Hallett, Head of Product, Microbusiness, PayPal in an announcement on its official website.

Tap to Paydi Android will be available to all Venmo business profile users in the coming months. Tap to Paydi Android is now also available to all PayPal Zettle users in the US.
