JAKARTA - The next game from developer and publisher Genshin Impact, entitled Honkai: Star Rail, will soon be released for PC and mobile on April 26.

In an announcement shared on Twitter, MiHoYo or HoYoverse said that Honkai: Star Rail is a role-playing game (RPG) tactical fantasy based on its turn.

In addition to previously announced PC and mobile availability, HoYoverse developers announced that game versions for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will be coming later.

While not much has been shared by developers about Honkai: Star Rail, maybe this game will become an open world action game similar to Genshin Impact for its turn-based battle.

Launching GamingBolt, based on the trailer released, the story will be set in the same universe as Honkai Impact 3rd, following the protagonist with Stellaron in a search to find the truth about "Cancer of All Worlds".

"Honkai: Star Rail is the latest galactic adventure RPG from HoYoverse. In this game, players will climb the "Astrally Express" and witness the beauty of a magical and fantastic galaxy, as well as embark on exciting and thrilling adventures," the developer wrote in his game caption.

Players will also meet new colleagues from around the world as well as familiar faces. Together with them, players will solve the problems caused by "Stellaron" and unravel the mysteries behind it.

This free game will also use the gacha for monetization. It is rated T for Youth and will be available for PC (self-installation or Epic Games Store), iOS and Android. HoYoverse has opened registrations for Honkai: Star Rail through its official website now.
