TC Indonesian U-17 National Team Arrival Of German Club Player Hoffenheim

JAKARTA - Additional strength was obtained by the U-17 Indonesian national team ahead of appearing in the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup. While undergoing a training camp (TC) in Germany, one new player diaspora came to join.

He is Amar Rayhan Rayhan. The player plays as a midfielder and currently plays for German club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

Amar has joined the German club since July 2022.

The news of Amar's joining was revealed by the U-17 national team coach, Bima Sakti, via Zoom's connection on the sidelines of a press conference at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta on Tuesday, October 10.

"We have received a diaspora player. Alhamdulillah, there is Amar Brkic from Hoffenheim," said Bima Sakti.

Amar Rayhan Brkic is a footballer born in Frankfurt, Germany on June 11, 2007.

The joining of Amar clearly adds to the color of the diaspora players in the U-17 national team squad. Because previously there was Welfer Jardim who first gathered with his colleagues after leaving his club, Sao Paulo in Brazil.

"Welber Jardim is also present, but later there will also be several more diaspora players who we will see in the training camp in Germany," added Bima Sakti regarding the team's future plans.

The U-17 World Cup 2023 will be held in Indonesia as the host from November 10 to December 2, 2023. The tournament will take place in four stadiums in various cities, namely the Jakarta International Stadium (Jakarta), Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (Bandung), Manahan Stadium (Solo) and Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (Surabaya).
