Successful Revenge Mission Completed, Marco Bezzecki So Emotional

JAKARTA - Racing VR46 Racing Team racer, Marco Bezzecchi, won the Indian MotoGP race at the Buddh Circuit, Sunday, September 24. He has performed outstanding by dominating the race since the start.

This is not an arbitrary victory for Bezzecki. This is his third win of the season, having previously won the Argentine series at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit and the French series at the Le Mans Circuit.

Bezzecki admits he carries a mission of revenge in this race after previously failing to climb the podium due to an incident with his teammate, Luca Marini, in the sprint race session.

"I'm happy, it was a tough, very long race, but after yesterday (sprint race), unfortunately at the start Luca Marini hit me. Today I want to take revenge (win the race) and fortunately I started better, I was able to lead early," Bezzecchi said as reported by MotoGP via Antara.

Bezzecchi managed to finish the race with 36 minutes 59.157 seconds. He was followed by Jorge Martin who finished second with a difference of 8.649 seconds and Fabio Quartararo in third with a difference of 8.855 seconds.

However, Bezzecki's victory had a deeper emotional dimension. After the race, he said, "I want to dedicate this victory to a friend who unfortunately passed away a few days ago. So, Filippo (heavy fan), this is for you."

With an additional 25 points for his win, Bezzecki continues to follow Francesco Bagnaia and Martin in third place in the MotoGP standings this season with a total of 248 points.

Martin, who got an additional 20 points, is now getting closer to Bagnaia. The Pramac Ducati rider is only 29 points away from the reigning champion.

The next fight will take place at the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit, Japan, September 29 - October 1.
