16 Indonesian Representatives Will Appear At The China Open 2023

JAKARTA A total of 16 Indonesian representatives will appear at the China Open 2023 which will take place from September 5 to 10 next month in Changzhou.

Men's doubles is the sector with the most representatives in this Super 1000 BWF level event. Meanwhile, the mixed doubles trailed in second place with four representatives.

The five men's doubles that came down were Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Rambitan, and Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

Meanwhile, the mixed doubles numbers are Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari, Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti, and Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati.

Then the next number is the men's singles. This number sends three representatives, namely Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, Jonatan Christie, and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting.

As for the singles and women's doubles, each has the strength of two representatives. In the women's singles that dropped were Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Putri Kusuma Wardani.

Meanwhile, in the women's doubles there are Apriyani Ranahyu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and

Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi. Apri/Fadia themselves were runners up for the 2023 World Championships last week.

This pair is the only Indonesian representative to be able to reach the final in this prestigious event. However, they must recognize the superiority of the first seed in China, Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan.
