Spanish League Results: Real Madrid Defeated Almeria 3-1, Jude Bellingham Makes a Brace

JAKARTA - New player Jude Bellingham contributed two goals or a brace during Real Madrid's 3-1 win over Almeria in the Spanish League match which was played at the Estadio Mediterraneo, local Saturday or early Sunday, Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

An additional three points brought Real to shift Valencia at the top of the standings with an advantage on goal difference even though they both collected six points. As for Almeria, the second successive defeat plunged them to the bottom of the standings with zero points, according to the official Spanish League website.

"He (Bellingham) adapted very well to La Liga, to our style he is very good," said Real coach Carlo Ancelotti.

After scoring on his debut last weekend, Bellingham has again been key for Real as they maintain their 100 per cent start this season.

However, Almeria surprised Real when Sergio Arribas headed in a cross from Lucas Robertone, goalkeeper Andriy Lunin could not anticipate to nestle in the capital team's goal in the third minute.

Bellingham equalized for Real in the 19th minute, when he moved quickly to latch onto the ball in the box and into the Almeria net. The goal was reviewed by the VAR for potential offside or handball, but the goal was approved by the referee.

Toni Kroos put Real ahead just before halftime with his trademark finish. Unfortunately the goal was disallowed due to a foul committed by Dani Carvajal.

Bellingham was the one who really brought Real back ahead in the 60th minute. By taking advantage of his height, Bellingham was free to grab a cross from Kroos to convert it into a goal.

Real then really made sure of their victory, when Bellingham fed Vinicius Junior in the penalty box. The Brazilian also converted it into a goal by kicking into the top corner of Almeria's goal in the 73rd minute.
