Bayern Munich Targeted, Harry Kane Sets Transfer Deadline

JAKARTA - Harry Kane seems to be running out of patience waiting for his transfer process to Bayern Munich. The Tottenham Hotspur player has reportedly set a deadline for the German club if he is interested in using his services.Bayern Munich has actually made their latest offer of 103 million, including a bonus for Kane last week.

However, negotiations between Tottenham and Bayern Munich have yet to find an agreement point. This situation is clearly detrimental to Kane who is adrift of his future.

The 30-year-old has entered his final year at the club. He may not renew his contract at the North London club.

With Kane's decision, Spurs risk losing the player for free. Joe Lewis as the club owner encouraged Daniel Levy to immediately sell Kane if the player had no intention of extending the contract.

Bayern Munich made their third offer for Kane this summer on Friday as the final deadline, but the offer was again rejected by Spurs.

Despite the tough negotiations, sources said Kane had set a deadline for Munich to finalize the deal.

He wants an agreement reached by both parties before the new Premier League season begins. If no agreement is reached Kane will not be willing to leave the club after the new season begins.

Tottenham will start the 2023/2024 season by traveling to Brentford on August 13. After that match Kane will not consider leaving Tottenham.

The same source said Kane would remain on the team because he felt "unfair" when he left during the season had rolled. Although on the other hand Tottenham remained willing to continue negotiating with Bayern until the transfer window closed.

In addition, there is a feeling that Kane may be trying to encourage Tottenham to make quick decisions about his future through the deadline he has set. Although Kane is expected to continue to reject contract negotiations as long as the transfer window is still open.

However, if Tottenham showed a significant increase under Postecoglou over the start of the season, Kane is believed to still be able to open up opportunities to discuss contract extensions with The Lilywhites.

At a meeting last Monday, it was reported that Bayern executives Jan-Christian Dreesen and Marco Neppe had made an offer of 85 million to Levy, but a separate report from The Independent stated that the offer from the German champions had been rejected.
