The coach whose full name is Luis Enrique Martinez Garcia has been PSG's eighth coach since the French club was taken over by Qatar owners in 2011.
He will get the same task as the previous coaches, namely trying to win their first Champions League trophy in club history. However, Enrique certainly won't be easy to do, especially in the midst of rumors that they are in danger of losing their flagship striker Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe is reportedly reluctant to extend his contract which expires next year and he is currently associated with moving to Real Madrid.
PSG hopes Luis Enrique's arrival can transmit the mentality of the champion to his squad while playing in the Champions League. Enrique won the Champions League trophy while training Barcelona in 2015.
