Officially Parting Faster With Real Madrid, Karim Benzema Following Cristiano Ronaldo To The Saudi Arabian League?

JAKARTA - Shocking news came from the Spanish La Liga giant, Real Madrid. The striker who is also the team captain, Karim Benzema, decided to separate from the team he had defended for 14 years.

Real Madrid have agreed to cancel Benzema's contract a year earlier. It was announced by the club through their official website.

"Real Madrid CF and our captain Karim Benzema have agreed to end a brilliant and unforgettable period as players for our club," the club said in a statement.

"Real Madrid would like to show their gratitude and gratitude to the figure who has become one of our greatest legends," the statement continued.

Real Madrid will hold a "payout and farewell" on Tuesday, with the presence of club president Florentino Perez.

This respect is considered reasonable because Benzema has presented four Spanish La Liga titles, five Champions League trophies and three Copa del Rey trophies while at Real Madrid. He scored 353 goals in 647 appearances for the Spanish giants, also providing 165 assists.

So where will the French player be anchored next? The 35-year-old has reportedly received a 342 million contract offer.

He received the shocking offer to play with Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League. Reportedly, the former Lyon Olympique player will sign a contract for two years.

In addition to his playing contract, Benzema is expected to receive additional costs to promote Saudi Arabia in the 2030 World Cup host bidding process.

Al-Ittihad is currently being handled by former Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo. The team beat Al-Nassr, who was strengthened by Cristiano Ronaldo to win the league title.
