JAKARTA - The Executive Board of the Indonesian Swimming Association (PB PRSI) sent 51 athletes to the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia to compete in three sports, namely swimming, water polo, and diving.
The 51 athletes consisted of 24 swimming athletes, 13 men's water polo athletes, 13 women's water polo athletes, and one diving athlete.
PB PRSI Chairperson Anindya Bakrie said the 2023 SEA Games was proof for athletes to achieve better results than before.
Medal achievements at Vietnam's SEA Games, namely two gold medals, three silver medals, and 10 bronze medals.
"The most important thing for the federation leadership is to encourage athletes. From a technical point of view, of course, managers and coaches have tempered in such a way. What they need now is mental support," Anindya said as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 4.
"And, we appreciate the athletes and coaches for their hard work so far. Now is the time to prove that we can produce more than ever before."
Anindya also thanked the athletes, coaches, and officials who have donated their time, energy, and thoughts to make the nation proud on the international stage.

The departure plan is divided into several waves. The swimming branch will depart on May 4-5 to compete May 6-11.
The beautiful diving branch represented by one athlete departs May 6, and will compete on May 8 and 10 and the men's and women's water polo departs on May 10, and will compete on May 12-16.
