Bob Arum Calls Eddie Hearn, Tyson Fury Vs Anthony Joshua's Duel Plan To Be Reorganized?

JAKARTA - Tyson Fury's team is reported to have approached the promoter who oversees Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn. They plan to re-realize the duel plans of fellow British boxers.

Joshua's name again caught Fury's attention after returning to winning ways earlier this month by beating Jermaine Franklin. After that victory, AJ deliberately opened the door to the Battle of Britain.

He openly challenged Fury to get into the ring and fight with him. Apparently, the challenge was successful in luring Fury.

Fury's co-promotor Bob Arum has reportedly made a shocking phone call for Hearn.

"Bob Arum called me the other day, which was quite surprising. Just talking about AJ Fury, he said 'What do you think?' And I said 'I don't know'" Hearn told iFL TV.

Hearn is open to holding serious talks with Team Fury. Moreover, Rajamen do not yet have potential opponents following the failure of the fight plan with Oleksandr Usyk.

"We are all ready to discuss the fight. I don't think there will be any significant costs in July, but we still want to see the numbers," the Matchroom Boxing chairman continued.

"Or if you want to wait and do it at the end of the year, we are also ready for that. Who knows what will happen to Usyk, with (Deontay) Wilder," he added.

AJ hopes to fight twice this year. It was also the wish of new coach Derrick James and Hearn.

"We just decided what kind of fight we want for July. Are we going to fight big-scale right now? AJ will fight in July, 100 percent," he said.

Joshua himself recently hinted that he would return to action in July, writing in an updated Instagram story, "12 weeks away (fight) again."
