JAKARTA - PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM), as APM and distributor of Daihatsu vehicles in Indonesia, posted positive sales results during the August 2023 period.
During the August period, Daihatsu recorded sales of around 143 thousand units, an increase of up to 8.6 percent from the same period last year.
This achievement made Daihatsu contribute retail sales to the national automotive market share of 20.2 percent. Meanwhile, overall Daihatsu recorded sales of up to 655 thousand during the eight months of 2023. Of course, this achievement is an increase of 4.4 percent compared to last year's same period.
Tri Mulyono, as Marketing & Customer Relations Division Head of PT Astra International Daihatsu Sales Operations, said that with this achievement, Daihatsu was able to make a major contribution to the sustainability of the Indonesian automotive market.

Of all the models offered, the Daihatsu Sigra still occupies the top position as Daihatsu's largest vehicle seller during this period. One of the cars in the LCGC segment recorded sales of 43,126 units or contributed 32.1 percent overall.

Three other models complete the top eight with Gran Max Mini Bus totaling 8,056 units (6 percent), Rocky with a total of 4,489 units (3.3 percent), and Luxio and Sirion contributing with a total of 2,340 units (1.7 percent).
