JAKARTA - In an effort to promote driving safety, PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has signed a cooperation agreement (MoU) with PT Jasa Raharja.

As quoted from Astra Honda's official website, the signing of the MoU was carried out at the AHM Safety Riding & Training Center Deltamas, West Java, on Wednesday, June 7.

With this collaboration, which is titled "Synergy for Increasing Traffic Safety," AHM and PT Jasa Raharja will take advantage of their resources to support each other, improve, and develop driving safety education programs.

Andy Wijaya, General Manager of Marketing Planning and Analysis AHM, stated that cooperation with PT Jasa Raharja is the right step in developing the driving safety program that has been carried out by AHM since 2002.

"We hope this initiative can strengthen the #cari_Aman culture and increase the effectiveness of driving safety education programs aimed at the right targets," Andy said.

Cooperation with PT Jasa Raharja will include driving education programs, safety riding seminars, and collaboration in traffic safety activities, namely JR-Rovation.

Over the past two decades, AHM and Honda's motorcycle business network have carried out more than 19,000 safety driving trainings with 2.8 million participants participating.

This campaign is growing with 148 safety riding instructors, 2,475 safety trading advisors, and 1,414 safety trading advisors from various Honda motorcycle communities in Indonesia.

PT AHM currently has the infrastructure to facilitate driving safety programs in the form of a Safety Riding Center owned by Honda at nine different locations, namely Banten, Jambi, Tangerang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Riau, Meda, Bandung, and AHM Safety Riding Park, which is the largest driving safety training center in Southeast Asia.
