Remembering The Services Of The IOF Founder, Jimny's Car Is Ready To Create A Record At Sentul International Circuit

JAKARTA - Indonesian News Media Link will hold the "Indonesia Jimny Festival 2023 (IJF2023)" event on June 17-18, 2023 at Sentul International Circuit, Bogor, West Java.

This event invited the owner of the Suzuki Jimny car from generation 1 to 4 to set a MURI record and commemorate the founder of the Indonesia Offroad Federation (IOF), namely the late Syamsir and the late Askar Kartiwa.

The President Director of the Sentul International Circuit, Didi Hardianto, said that Jimny's car is a legend and proud to be able to support the activities of the Indonesia Jimny Festival as part of the Tribute to Syamsir and Askar Kartiwa' events. Apart from IJF2023, other events such as off-road with the IOF Founders and IMA Endurocross Open Championship 2023 will also be held on the same day.

Harry Sanusi from the founders of IOF revealed that this event aims to commemorate the services of the two IOF founders who have helped develop off-road activities in Indonesia and brought the IOF into an international standard organization. Another IOF founder, namely Wijaya Kusuma, hopes that the IJF2023 event can raise more than 500 Jimny to create records and unite Jimny owners and lovers in Indonesia.

Suzuki Jimny car owners from all over Indonesia and the Jimny community are expected to be present to bring their proud Suzuki Jimny to the success of the Jimny event which has been on hiatus for more than 10 years, especially the last 2 years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The IJF2023 event will be a forum for the unification of Jimny's community and Jimny's owners, which lasts for two days with various interesting activities such as Jimny Spareparts and Jimny Accessor, Jimny Track Day, Jimny Camp, Jimny Fun Games, entertainment and major events, namely creating a record for the Jimny parade at Sentul International Circuit.

Chairman of the IJF2023 Committee, Ronny Kusuma, hopes that Suzuki Jimny's car owners and Jimny's community will participate in this Jimny event, because this event was created by and for Suzuki Jimny's car owners.
