Reported Case Of Binus Bully High School With Witness Status, Police Have Not Found Facts About Perpetrators Of Children Of Party Chairs

JAKARTA The South Jakarta Metro Police are investigating the presence of elements of sexual harassment as RE (16) said, there were 18 victims of bullying at Binus School Simprug, South Jakarta. Until now, 18 officers are still examining witnesses.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Gogo Galesung, said that the reported person in this case was still a witness. Therefore, it takes time to process this case.

"In the meantime, the post-mortem is still violent. All of them are still witnesses," Gogo told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, September 19.

Regarding the information that stated that the gang of perpetrators from among party officials and chairmen, Gogo confirmed that his party had not found the truth of the statement.

"We've checked that everything has nothing to do with the news," explained Gogo.

For now, the case of alleged bullying at Binus Simpurug High School, South Jakarta is still ongoing. A total of 18 witnesses have been examined.

Regarding acts of harassment, said Gogo, his party is still investigating.

RE through his attorney has reported a case of alleged bullying to the South Jakarta Metro Police. The report is registered with the number LP/B/331/I/2024/SPKT POLRES METRO JAKSEL/POLDA METRO JAYA.

In the report, the reported party had the initials KE, R, K, and C. They were all Binus students. The reported bullying took place on January 30, 2024.
