The Mayor Of Risma's Innovation To Create A Trisakti Disinfectant Room

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Surabaya, Tri Rismaharini, is promoting a new disinfectant device in the form of a room called 'Trisakti Disinfectant Room'. This is an innovation to protect the public against the attack of COVID-19 or the corona virus.

“If you use a hand sanitizer, you only clean your hands. However, with this disinfectant booth, the whole body is cleaned so that the body is completely clean from various viruses and germs, ”said Risma, in a written statement received by the editorial staff, Saturday, March 21.

Risma, who is known to be progressive and continues to be creative in protecting Surabaya residents, explained that the new disinfectant booth that was officially handed over by IT Telkom Surabaya Chancellor Tri Arif Sarjono to himself at the mayor's official residence on Saturday was easy to make.

"By modifying the shower in the bathroom glass tub, and in collaboration with the Health Office and the technical team, the blower added to the cubicle sprays a certain size of disinfectant," explained the woman who is also the Chair of the PDIP DPP.

"As a result, in addition to the environment being secured by spraying disinfectant, the body will be protected. We are designing a model in the form of a hallway so that it can work fast and have a bigger scale," he continued.

Risma is known to be alert in anticipating the widespread spread of the corona virus in Surabaya. So far there have been six positive corona patients being treated in the isolation room of the Airlangga University Hospital.

Before asking for help from IT Telkom Surabaya to build a Trisakti Disinfectant Room, Risma actively took to the streets to give appeals to the public. He also established a public kitchen, gave free corona virus tests, appealed to maintain cleanliness and conduct social distancing one meter.
