Otto Hasibuan: Prabowo Asks To Calm Down, We Are Ready To Win And Ready To Lose

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Prabowo-Gibran Defenders Team, Otto Hasibuan, said Prabowo Subianto had invited all parties, including supporters and around 96 million Prabowo-Gibran voters to respect the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the dispute over the results of the general election (PHPU) or the 2024 presidential election dispute over the 2024 presidential election.

The trial for reading the decision on the 2024 presidential election dispute took place openly at the Constitutional Court building, Jakarta, on Monday 22 April and will start at 09.00 WIB.

"We are ready to win, ready to lose. Pak Prabowo is always polite, so there is no commotion. Whoever is won, we must respect," said Otto.

"Pak Prabowo asks for calm, respects all parties, respects the Constitutional Court's decision, whatever the decision is. No volunteers should take to the streets, all respect the Constitutional Court's decision," he added.

He himself said he was optimistic that the Constitutional Court would reject the lawsuit filed by Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud. This Constitutional Court decision, said Otto, will provide certainty regarding the results of the 2024 General Election.

"If the Constitutional Court has decided, it is final and binding. This is the end of the election process," said Otto.

"We are waiting for October for the inauguration of the new president," he said.

The Constitutional Court will read out the decisions of two presidential election disputes in the same room, namely the 1st floor MKRI building. These two cases were filed by the applicant one, namely the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair team number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, and the second applicant, the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair team number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

The Constitutional Court has received confirmation of the presence of the Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud pairs. However, the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Rak1a, has not provided confirmation.
