2 Defendants Of Corruption BAKTI Kominfo Initial Session On November 16

Head of the Attorney General's Office for Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum Kejagung) Ketut Sumedana said two suspects in BTS 4G corruption BAKTI Kominfo will soon undergo their first trial on November 16, 2023.

"The Public Prosecutor's Team of the Attorney General's Office and the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office have received a notification letter for the determination of the trial on behalf of the defendants Muhammad Yusrizki Muliawan and Windi Purnama," Sumedana said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 14.

The determination of the trial schedule for reading the charges to the defendants Yusrizki and Windi was held on Thursday (16/11), as attached in Letter Number: 101/Pid.Sus-TPK/2020/PN Jkt dated November 7, 2023 for the defendant Muhammad Yusrizki Muliawan and the defendant Windo Purnama attached in Letter Number: 100/Pid.Sus-TPK/2020/PN Jkt Pst on November 7th.

Sumedana mengatakan sebelum jadwal persidangan kedua terdakwa ditetapkan, keduanya telah melalui beberapa tahapan sebagai berikut, tahap II atau P-16A untuk Windi Purnama pada 16 Agustus dan Yusrizki pada tanggal 11 September.

"Then the case was transferred (P-31) to the defendants Yusrizki and Windi on November 6," said Sumedana.

Ketut said that during the trial process the two defendants were detained in different detention centers, namely Yusrizki at the Salemba Rutan, Attorney General's Branch, while the defendant Windi was at the Class 1 Detention Center, Central Jakarta.

In this case, the Attorney General's Office named 16 suspects. Apart from Yusrizki and Windi, as many as six defendants have already been tried.

The six defendants have undergone decisions in court, namely Anang Achmad Latif, Yohan Suryanto, Gelumbang Menak Simanjuntak, Mukti Ali, Irwan Hermawan and Johnny G Plate.

Seven suspects are still under investigation, namely Jemy Sutjiawan, Elvano Hatorangan, M Ferriandi Mirza, Walbertus Natalius Wisang (Article 21), Naek Parulian Washington Hutahaean or Edward Hutahaean (Article 15) and Sadikin Rusli (Article 15).
