Danrem 042/Gapu Ready To Guard And Secure Elections In Jambi

JAMBI - Danrem 042/Gapu Brigadier General Supriono said the TNI and Polri would create a safe, comfortable, peaceful, cool and dignified election atmosphere in Jambi Province in 2024.

This was conveyed by Brigadier General Supriono after m, DANREM attended the National Apple and Declaration of the 2024 Peace Election in the Jambi Police Headquarters field, Saturday with the Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Rusdi Hartono. After the declaration is pronounced, it will be the commitment of all parties to realize peace during the election in Jambi Province.

"I hope that all elements involved in the 2024 election, can apply this declaration statement as the basis for creating a safe, peaceful, cool and dignified election," Supriono said.

The TNI is also grateful to be able to continue to synergize well with the government, the National Police and all components of society, especially in welcoming the 2024 Peaceful Election.

He also said that one form of preparedness and cooperation for all components, Jambi Province is in the 31st position of all provinces (12.97 percent) which are included in the category of conducive situations, but it is necessary to anticipate the increasing escalation of vulnerability during the election.

"I also invite and appeal to all components of society to continue to synergize in maintaining security stability in the upcoming elections, let us together realize a peaceful, safe, comfortable and smooth 2024 election to create dignified democracy," said Brigadier General Supriono.

Korem 042/Gapu ensures that the TNI AD unit upholds the commitment of neutrality in facing the 2024 political year. Currently, the condition of the unity of the Indonesian nation is always facing challenges, one of the real challenges that is the potential for division when we are in an atmosphere of election contestation.
