Hasto Ensures PDIP Remains Commitment In Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin Cabinet Row

MATARAM - Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized the PDIP's commitment to remain in the ranks of President Joko Widodo's cabinet. "Yes, that is a commitment for PDIP even though he (Jokowi, ed) has changed, but the PDIP's task is to fight for it and the state remains put forward," he said after opening the Regional Coordination Meeting of the PDIP NTB DPD in Mataram, Antara, Sunday, November 5. For the current PDIP, maintaining political stability is far more important than political maneuvers. The vote of the election is in the hands of the people. Therefore, the ministers from PDIP must continue to carry out the duties of the nation and state. "People are very smart, the people really know which one is good," he said. According to him as the supporting party, PDIP will continue to oversee the running of the government until the end of Jokowi's term of office - Ma'aruf Amin, even though in the 2024 Presidential Election, PDIP chose a different path by carrying Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md as presidential and vice presidential candidates.

"We are guarding Jokowi - Ma'ruf Amin as a unit until completing his duties and ending his position, even though in this election we have different choices, we move to Ganjar - Mahfud," he said.
