JAKARTA - The police have arrested 14 teenagers suspected of being involved in a brawl in the area of Jalan Kaffi 1 and Gg Nila, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta (Jaksel). They were arrested after being caught throwing sharp weapons (sajam) into a ditch.

Head of Samapta Polres Metro South Jakarta AKBP Rosa Witarsa said the incident occurred on Sunday, November 5, at 05.00 WIB.

This incident began when his party was conducting patrols around South Jakarta. Arriving at the scene, they met a group of teenagers who were suspected of being involved in a brawl.

"Conducted an examination of the 10 teenagers and carried out a sweep in Gg Nila," Rosa said in her statement, Sunday, November 5.

Not only that, but his party also secured four other teenagers. While being chased by the teenagers, he threw his knife into a ditch.

"When chasing Gg Nila, some of the weapons were thrown in a ditch," he said.

Furthermore, the 14 teenagers were taken to the Jagakarsa Police. The goal is for further action.

"It was handed over to the Jagakarsa Police for further investigation," he concluded.
