Pelaku Curanmor Milik Warga Sirimau Kota Ambon Ini Berhasil Ditangkap Polisi Saat Kabur Ke Pulau Seram

Police officers from the Sirimau Sector Polresta Pulau Ambon and PP Lease, Maluku Province arrested one perpetrator of motor vehicle theft (curanmor) with the initials LK alias Igo. Igo was arrested by the police while fleeing to Piru (Seram Island), West Seram Regency. "The arrest of the perpetrator was led by Sirimau Police Chief AKP Saly Lewerissa after receiving information that he had fled to Seram Island," said Head of Public Relations of Ambon Island Police Ipda Janete S. Luhukay in Ambon, quoted from Antara, Thursday, November 2. When arrested, the police also confiscated the stolen motorbike from the 19-year-old perpetrator. "Before being arrested, the police received a criminal report of theft that occurred on Friday (27/10) at around 02.00 WIT at Kayu Tiga Bethabara RT 001/RW 009 Soya Village, Sirimau District, Ambon City," he said. The motorcycle was lost when it was parked inside the terrace of the victim's house, and this condition was discovered after the victim woke up at 03.00 WIT. This case was later reported and the police's development succeeded in knowing the whereabouts of the suspect, so they immediately pursued him to Seram Island.

When meeting the suspect, members of the Sirimau Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted an examination and interrogated the suspect and brought him with evidence to Ambon Island.
