Two Iron Thieves Supporting Toll Road Arrested By PJR Polda Metro Jaya Officers

Members of the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya managed to arrest two perpetrators of theft of iron elbows supporting the flyover on the Sedyatmo Toll Road, KM 22 A, towards Soetta Airport, Kapuk Muara, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, Sunday, October 29.

Head of PJR Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Sutikno explained that the arrest of the perpetrator began with a report from Jasa Marga officers that there had been theft of iron supporting kites at KM 22 A.

"Then the officers joined the patrol of the clan service to the crime scene. We managed to secure two perpetrators along with evidence of a number of supporting iron," said AKBP Sutikno when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, October 29.

During the arrest, the two perpetrators could not move. Both of them just surrendered when they were secured by the police. Meanwhile, a number of evidences of stolen iron and crowbars were confiscated.

For further processing, the two perpetrators along with the evidence were brought to the Penjaringan Police Headquarters for further processing.

"The two perpetrators and evidence were handed over to the Penjaringan Police," he said.
