'Maybe He's Tired' Said The Head Of Criminal Investigation Unit Of The Pademangan Police Seeing The Thief Having Fun Sleeping In The Victim's Mattress

JAKARTA - A man named Agus Anwar (27) was arrested by residents with the police. Agus was accused of stealing in an empty house, in the West Pademangan area, North Jakarta. Interestingly when arrested, the perpetrator fell asleep at the victim's house.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP I Gede Gustiana Wijaya Kusuma confirmed the incident. Agus was arrested on Monday morning, October 23.

"He slept at the victim's house. Maybe he was tired, he stole back and forth in the empty house," said Gustiana when confirmed, Friday, October 27.

Gustiana explained that the incident began when the occupants of the house left their residence. Then there were two perpetrators who entered the victim's house.

When returning to his house, the victim saw one of the perpetrators known as Agus at his house. On that basis, he called residents and police officers to make arrests.

"So the other perpetrator was caught sleeping. Another one left because he wanted to sell his stolen belongings," he said.

The perpetrator was immediately taken to the Pademangan Police for questioning. Meanwhile, one other perpetrator is being chased.
