Polda Metro Investigates The Portal For PPKGBK Which Closes Access To Hotel Sultan

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has begun investigating the case of the destruction of two portals in the 5th door area of the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta.

This vandalism case stems from a report from the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Center (PPKGBK). The two portals he created were damaged by Pontjo Sutowo's PT Indobuildco.

"We are currently conducting the first investigation related to the legal standing of the right to sue rather than PPKGBK for its rights," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Hengki Haryadi, to reporters, Friday, October 27.

In addition to exploring the legal standing issue, the investigative team is also collecting evidence and clues. If they have been collected, then a case will be held to decide whether or not the case could be investigated.

"Then we will investigate who the perpetrators are in this investigation phase and then when the investigation has been investigated, we will find out who the suspects are," said Hengki.

On the other hand, Hengki emphasized that if there is a criminal element as reported, namely Article 170 of the Criminal Code, anyone who is proven to have violated will be dealt with according to the rules.

"Of course, if we find that this is a criminal offense, we will no one else," he said.

Previously, PPKGBK built a portal to close access to the Sultan Hotel on Tuesday, October 24.

PT Indobuildco brought six workers to dismantle the iron portal in yellow and black. Several people were seen destroying concrete with a hammer. While the rest moved the rock near the portal.

After the concrete was successfully destroyed, the barrier iron was combined and moved to the back area. On the iron side there is an inscription 'enter/out must report & exchange identity'.
