President Jokowi Is Scheduled To Inaugurate New Officials At The State Palace Tomorrow Wednesday

JAKARTA - Special Staff Coordinator of Indonesian President AAGN Ari Dwipayana said President Joko Widodo is scheduled to inaugurate new officials at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday tomorrow. "Tomorrow (Wednesday), it is planned that there will be an inauguration of officials at the State Palace," Ari said when contacted in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, October 24. When asked who the official would be inaugurated and in what position, Ari would convey the development of the information. "Regarding who was inaugurated and what position, I will update it again later," he added. The news about the inauguration of the official emerged after Jokowi on Tuesday morning stated that he would reshuffle the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. According to Jokowi, there is a possibility that the cabinet reshuffle will be held this week. Regarding the certainty of the reshuffle, Jokowi stated that preparations were still being made. However, Jokowi confirmed that the reshuffle was related to the determination of a definitive minister of agriculture to replace Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) who resigned because he was caught in a case of alleged corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture. In addition, there is also news circulating about the replacement of the Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman who will be replaced by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (Wakasad) Lt. Gen. Agus Subiyanto. Head of the Army Information Service (Kadispenad) Brigadier General Hamim Tohari, on a separate occasion in Jakarta, Tuesday, stated that changing the cassation was under President Joko Widodo's authority, so he asked the public to wait for official information. "We'll just wait because that's the authority of the President (Jokowi)," Hamim said when contacted in Jakarta, Tuesday. Dudung Abdurachman will enter retirement or retirement on November 19, 2023 or when he is 58 years old.

Based on Article 53 of Law (UU) Number 34 of 2004 concerning the Indonesian National Army (TNI), the service period for TNI soldiers for the highest officers is 58 years old and for non-commissioned officers aged 53 years.
