Kendari Police, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra), managed to arrest two students who vandalized a resident's house on Jalan Sinapoy, Anggoeya Village, Poasia District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province, on Sunday, October 22 at around 02.00 WITA. Kasatreskrim Kendari Police AKP Fitrayadi said the two students had the initials IK (16) and IW (16), who are residents of South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. "Two perpetrators with the initials IW and IK," said Fitrayadi in Kendari as quoted by Antara, Monday, October 23. The incident occurred while the victim was eating and then hearing the roof of his house being thrown. At that time, four people entered the victim's house while screaming for someone named Atung. "At that time the victim answered that there was no Atung's name here, not here his house," he said. The four people did not believe the victim's words and thought the person they were looking for was hidden by the victim. "At that time the victim's mother came out and told the people to get out of their house," he explained. It didn't stop there, the perpetrators came out and threw the victim's house with bottles repeatedly until it was damaged. "For this incident, the victim objected so he reported to the Kendari Police for further investigation," he said. After conducting an investigation, investigators from the Kendari Police Satreskrim found sufficient preliminary evidence so that they searched for the perpetrators for arrests. "The suspect was arrested at his home in Ranomeeto District, South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi," said Fitrayadi. Based on the results of the interrogation, the two perpetrators admitted that they had damaged the victim's house and were under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

"There is still development of other suspects who are strongly suspected of being the perpetrators of threats and destruction," he said.
