KPU Appoints Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital As A Health Test Place For Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates In 2024

The General Election Commission (KPU) appointed the Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) as a health test place for prospective presidential candidate pairs and vice presidential candidate (cawapres) for the 2024 presidential election.

"The health checks at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital and the KPU will also form a team of health examining doctors, such as that," said KPU member Idham Holik at the KPU Media Center, Jakarta, Monday, October 16, as reported by Antara.

The KPU will also form a team of doctors who will check the health of the presidential and vice presidential candidates. According to Idham, the medical test will be carried out one day after the registration file is declared complete by the KPU.

"After the registration of the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs is declared complete and we accept it, a day later we will conduct a health check on the prospective pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates," said the member of the Indonesian KPU, Technical Division of the Organizer.

The KPU has issued KPU Regulation (PKPU) Number 19 of 2023 concerning the Registration of Presidential Candidates and Vice Presidential Candidates for the 2024 General Election. In the PKPU, the registration of presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election is opened on 19-25 October 2023 at the KPU RI Office, Jakarta.

The KPU has also started socializing the registration of prospective presidential election pairs starting Monday, October 18 or the day before registration opens.

Registration time on October 19-24, 2023 is open at 08.00-16.00 WIB, while on October 25 it is closed until 23.59 WIB.
