Mardiono Says PPP Continues To Strengthen Consolidation To Win The Party And Ganjar Pranowo

JAKARTA - Acting Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Muhamad Mardiono stated that his party continues to strengthen consolidation to win the party and Ganjar Pranowo.

"We will continue to monitor the movement of all of Indonesia, I am monitoring from the center. Because there is no PPP day without consolidation," he said in a written statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday, October 14.

According to him, the struggle to get maximum votes in the election, PPP applies a one- breath, one struggle, and should not be separated.

"All the cadres who are placed to run for legislative members are also part of the success of Ganjar Pranowo's presidential election and victory," he asserted.

This affirmation was conveyed by Mardiono after attending the opening of the 2024 General Election Winning Regional Work Conference (Mukerwil) in Medan, North Sumatra.

Mardiono asked the North Sumatra PPP Regional Leadership Council (DPW) to cooperate with the advanced Indonesian coalition political parties (Parpol), namely the PDI-P, Perindo, and Hanura.

"My message to the cadres in North Sumatra, because they have high enthusiasm, just need to push and open the door with a new concept, according to what the people need," he asserted.

He is also optimistic that the North Sumatra PPP can achieve the target he has set in the 2024 General Election. The North Sumatra PPP DPW has a target seat for the Provincial DPRD 10, the DPR RI has 3 seats, and the Regency/City DPRD has 100 seats.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the North Sumatra PPP DPW, Jafaruddin, admitted that he would continue to synergize with the coalition party as mandated by the Acting Chairman of Mardiono.

"We are also waiting for the right partner to continue to be socialized. We will fight sincerely and enthusiastically, because as a party based on the values of Islamic capital, it is mainly a sincerity inherited by ulama," said Jafaruddin.
