SOUTH KALIMANTAN - The Regional Library and Archives Service of South Kalimantan Province (Kalsel) destroyed thousands of archival files from various agencies from 1980 to 2014. Head of the Regional Library and Archives Service of South Kalimantan Province, Nurliani Dardie, said that at least 2,112 files of the archives had been destroyed. "The destruction of thousands of archival files is scheduled for October 18, 2023," he said in Banjarmasin, Friday, October 13, which was confiscated by Antara. A total of 7,026 archival files with the period 1971-2005 being destroyed in 2021 and 3,090 archives for the period 1960-2009 were destroyed in 2022.
