A Gang Of Sharp Armed Robbers Including Women Who Have Been Fugitive For Almost A Year Arrested

JAMBI - After being a fugitive for almost a year, three perpetrators of motorcycle robbery in Jambi City, one of whom was finally arrested by the Criminal Investigation Team of the Telanaipura Sector Police (Polsek), Jambi City.

"After receiving information on the whereabouts of the perpetrators, we finally managed to arrest the three perpetrators who had been fugitives in almost a year," said Telanaipura Police Chief AKP S Harefa, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 11.

The police initially received a report of a motorcycle robbery that occurred on December 22, 2022, on the side of Jalan Depati Parbo RT 11, Buluran Village, Telanaipura District, Jambi City.

Based on the results of the information from the reporter or victim Khanedi Putra (30), he explained that the incident occurred when he was about to leave the house to buy cigarettes with his friend using his motorbike.

Then he was at the crime scene (TKP) where his motorbike was blocked by the perpetrators who used six motorbikes from the opposite direction while removing sharp objects.

When he was about to save himself from the perpetrator's actions, the victim and his friend ran away from his motorbike.

"However, the victim's friend fell and suffered a wound on his right leg but managed to save himself and the victim's motorbike was successfully taken away by the perpetrators," said Harefa.

The police finally arrested the three perpetrators who were immediately taken to the Jambi Police.

It is known that the perpetrator's first action was carried out by the Jambi Out-of-town area. Then they took action in Kota Baru and in Mendali

"The three perpetrators that we have arrested and are currently being detained at the police are the perpetrators with the initials SH (16), ES (16) and RD (17) along with evidence in the form of a Yamaha Mio motorcycle and a sharp machete weapon used to carry out the robbery," said Harefa.
