PDIP Faction DKI DPRD Asks DPP To Accelerate PAW Cinta Mega

Chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Gembong Warsono hopes that the PDIP Central Executive Board (DPP) will immediately approve and submit a letter of interim replacement (PAW) Cinta Mega from members of the PDIP faction.

Two months ago, Cinta Mega was officially fired as a PDIP cadre because she was caught playing a slot gambling game in the plenary meeting of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

According to Gembong, there needs to be a letter of submission from the PDIP DPP so that the leadership of the DKI Jakarta DPRD can carry out the PAW process which replaces Cinta Mega with other cadres. But until now the letter in question has not been sent.

"While waiting for the PAW process to be carried out by the Party Central Leadership Council. So the PAW that can do it is the party's central leadership council, the regional leadership council has sent a letter to the DPP so that the PAW process is immediately lowered with a replacement," said Gembong at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Monday, October 9.

Gembong explained that PAW Cinta Mega needs to be accelerated because now the person concerned has moved to the National Mandate Party (PAN) and is running as a candidate for DPRD member in the 2024 Legislative Election from PAN.

Therefore, the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the DKI Jakarta PDIP has written to the DPP to ask for the acceleration of the application for PAW Cinta Mega to the PDIP DPP.

"Today we have sent the letter to the DPP and today the DPD will also send a letter to the leadership of the council regarding the interim dismissal as a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD. However, the interim replacement time is waiting for a letter from the party's DPP," he explained.

Confirmed separately, a member of the General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta Province, Dody Wijaya, confirmed that PAN registered Cinta Mega as a candidate for DKI Jakarta DPRD Member in the 2024 Legislative Election.

Cinta Mega was registered on the last day of the funeral period for the list of permanent candidates (DCT) for legislative members on October 3.

"The final stage of the nomination is DCT's burial. From September 24 to October 3 yesterday. Finally, the party PAN registered the person concerned. It is still possible, the party proposes a new candidate," said Dody.

Dody said that the Cinta Mega registration file had been received and would be verified along with other legs, followed by the preparation of DCT if the administrative requirements were complete.

Regarding the track record of Cinta Mega who was fired by PDIP due to being caught playing slot gambling during a plenary meeting, Dody handed over the feasibility of Cinta Mega to run again in the legislative election to his party.

"This nomination is entirely in political parties. So if there is a complaint or public response, we will forward it to the political parties. Whether the party will review the reconsideration, we will completely submit it to the political parties," he explained.

It is known that Cinta Mega was officially fired from PDIP on Monday, August 14 for playing slot gambling games in a plenary meeting.

In the process of changing it, PDIP initially sent a letter of proposal for PAW Cinta Mega to the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD. The chairman of the DPRD then forwarded the PAW letter to the General Election Commission (KPU) for processing.

The replacement was ratified in a plenary meeting after the PAW process was completed. As long as the PAW plenary meeting has not been held, Cinta Mega is still a member of the DKI DPRD.
