Gerindra Tangsel Proposes Gibran To Be Prabowo Subianto's Vice Presidential Candidate

TANGERANG - South Tangerang Gerindra DPC held a branch coordination meeting (Rakorcab). As a result, Gibran Rakabuming Raka was proposed to become Prabowo Subianto's Vice Presidential Candidate (Bacawapres).

The chairman of the South Tangerang DPC, Li Claudia Chandra, explained the reason for choosing Gibran Rakabuming, because he was considered suitable as a youth figure to bring Indonesia forward.

"We propose Pak Prabowo Subianto as well as the advanced Indonesian coalition, Mr. Prabowo's deputy, Mr. Gibran. Because he is young, Indonesia is gold, Indonesia is advanced," Li Claudia Chandra told reporters in the Serpong area, South Tangerang, Sunday, October 8.

The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad responded to this proposal. According to him, the proposal will be considered because of the official decision from the South Tangerang Gerindra DPC.

"We think it is the aspiration of the branch which will later become one of the considerations," said Dasco.
