Central Sulawesi Police Arrest DPO For Corruption Cases Of IDR 29 Billion In Bangkep

Central Sulawesi Police managed to arrest a suspect who was on the wanted list (DPO) of alleged corruption (tipikor) cases in Banggai Islands Regency (Bangkep) with a state loss of around Rp29 billion. "It is true, the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Ditreskrimsus Sub-Directorate Team has arrested AT, the former Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Banggai Islands Regency," said Head of Public Relations of Central Sulawesi Police, Police Commissioner Djoko Wienartono in Palu city, Central Sulawesi, Saturday. Ditreskrimsus Central Sulawesi Police since February 3, 2022 has issued a Wanted List for Persons number DPO/07/II/2023/Ditreskrimsus on behalf of AT.

He explained that after a search for about 19 months, AT was arrested at one of the boarding houses in Luwuk, Banggai Regency on Friday (6/10). According to Djoko, AT's arrest attempt was carried out since October 3, 2023 by the Central Sulawesi Police Tipikor Sub-Directorate Team, after receiving information from the public. He said that for now the suspect is at the Central Sulawesi Regional Police and is undergoing an examination process. Listed in DPO, AT was born in Waepo on December 9, 1975, having its address at Buka Village, Tinakung District, Banggai Islands Regency. While other addresses are located in Maliaro Village, Central Ternate District, Ternate City, North Maluku Province.
