Fast Train Passengers Are Getting Easier To Access Halim Stations Through New Transjakarta Route Trials

JAKARTA Access for prospective fast train passengers to Halim Station in Jakarta will be easier with the trial of a new Transjakarta route, namely Cawang - Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo - Jalan DI Panjaitan - Halim Station.

"The presence of Transjakarta will make it easier for people from various areas in Jakarta to climb the Quickfeeding Train," said Eva Chairunisa, Corporate Secretary of PT KCIC when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, October 1, evening.

Apart from Transjakarta, Halim Station is also currently connected to Jabodebek LRT station. Not only that, Halim Station can be accessed through the DI Panjaitan road as the main access and Exit of the Japek KM 1+850 Toll Road. The operational hours of the new route start at 06.00 WIB until 16.00 WIB.

"All these strategic accesses will connect the Quickfeeding train with public areas. Connectivity between modes has proven to increase passenger comfort and can increase mobility," he said.

The trial of the new Transjakarta route to Halim Station is based on the Decree of the Head of the Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service Number 1033 of 2023 concerning Assignment to Limited Transportation Airport Jakarta in the Trial of the New Route 7W (Cawang-KCJB Halim Station) as a Jabodebek LRT Feeder Service dated September 26, 2023.

"Halim station integration with Transjakarta is believed to be able to encourage the rise of fast train passengers and have an impact on business development in the Halim Station area," he said.

Fast Halim train station itself is the largest fast train station. With an area of 78,315 square meters, Halim station comes with a variety of complete facilities up to 52 tenants that will serve the community and prospective passengers.
