Gerindra Yakin PSI Bakal Declaration Of Support To Prabowo

JAKARTA - The chairman of the DKI Jakarta Gerindra DPD, Ahmad Riza Patria, believes that the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) will declare its support for the prospective presidential candidate of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto for the 2024 presidential election. This was said by Riza in response to the plan of the PSI General Chair, Kaesang Pangarep, who wanted to visit Prabowo's residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java. "The relationship between the Gerindra Party and PSI is getting better, the more solid it is. I personally believe, God willing, PSI will declare for support for Pak Prabowo, we pray together," said Riza in South Jakarta, Saturday, September 30. "We hope that PSI can join the Forward Indonesia Coalition to support Mr. Prabowo," he continued. Regarding PSI's plan to meet PDIP, Riza considered it reasonable. Because according to him, every political party chairman must stay in touch ahead of the 2024 General Election.

"I think, of course, all leaders of political parties must meet and stay in touch. We may have different choices, may be different parties, but we are all children of the nation, we need to continue to build national unity and integrity," said the former Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta. Riza said Gerindra had no problem if PSI held a meeting with PDIP. Although on several occasions PSI also attended the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) event. "God willing, there will be no problems, everyone must meet, yes, because in the end we all have to unite to build a nation and a country," he explained.
