The Information Center (Puspen TNI), TNI soldiers from the Nanggala Team, who are under the Cartenz Police Peace Task Force, managed to paralyze the Papuan Terrorist Separatist Group (KSTP) which has often caused trouble and riots in the Serambakon area of the Bintang Mountains Regency (Pegubin) of the Papua Mountains Province. The Nanggala team succeeded in taking action against KSTP Kodap 35 in the Serambakon Oksibil area with 3 weapons (1 AR 10, 1 SS1 and 1 FN pistol), hundreds of 5.56 mm and 9 mm caliber ammunition and 5 KSTP people were killed at the Serambakon Pegubin Modusit Village.

The Nanggala team, which has 18 powers, is a combination of Nanggala 2 with 9 personnel and Nanggala 8 with 9 personnel. The Nanggala team has arrived at the Oksibil Police Station with evidence in the form of 1 AR-10 long-barreled weapons, 1 SS1 and 1 FN pistol and hundreds of 5.56 mm and 9 mm caliber ammunition.

Kapuspen TNI in its release news confirmed the shooting of 5 KSTPs in the Serambakon Papua Mountains by TNI officers who were members of the Cartenz Peace Task Force. Reports from the field that I received, the Nanggala TNI Team who are members of the Cartenz Peace Task Force this morning managed to paralyze 5 KSTPs by shooting dead, and securing 3 weapons and hundreds of 5.56 mm and 9 mm caliber ammunition, for other KSTPs to escape and their weapons," he explained.

Previously, the Bintang Mountains KST was involved in various security disturbances and criminal acts. KST has been involved in disturbances and killings of the community since early 2023. They attacked and robbed the public, as well as attacked district governments and village officials if they did not deposit some money to them.

According to the TNI, various disturbances in flight traffic around the airport, shooting Brimob officers who patrolled to death, shooting Satpos PP officers, burning DPRD official houses and residents' kiosks to the bottom.

"The Pangkogabwilhan III order to take firm action in a measured manner against the Pegubin KSTP because so far it has committed the crime of killing civilians of Papuans (OAP), burning, killing Satpol PP, killing Brimob and other crimes," he said.
