Ganjar: Can Compromise, Except With Corruptors

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate 2024 Ganjar Pranowo emphasized that he is ready to work together and compromise with anyone in politics to build Indonesia in the future. However, there are some parties he cannot compromise with, including corruptors.

This statement was made by Ganjar when he was present at the Ideafest Lead The Leap event at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Saturday, September 30. Present at the event were hundreds of young people from various regions in Indonesia.

In the event, Ganjar was present as a speaker with young people as a panelist. They are free to ask any questions to Ganjar, including in terms of politics.

"In politics, you say there must be an agreement, a compromise. What makes you never compromise in politics," said Abigail.

Ganjar said that in politics there is something called consensus, agreement in all decisions taken.

"And I can work with anyone, compromise with anyone for the sake of humanity. But there are conditions, except with corruptors. If you don't have an anti-corruption agenda, it means you're not part of my group," said Ganjar.

Apart from anti-corruption, Ganjar also cannot compromise with parties who do not want to serve the people. Because the government's job is to provide services to the people easily, cheaply and quickly.

"If you don't want to serve the people, not my group. You can't bring SARA issues, because we live in the diversity of Ika Tunggal," he said.

The arrangement received appreciation from hundreds of young people who attended. They applauded boisterously over Ganjar's satisfactory answer.

"Hearing Mr. Ganjar's answer, I'm sure he has a good idea for Indonesia. And he holds ethics and morals in politics, does not use bad methods to achieve certain goals," said Mia (20), a participant.
