Polda Metro Coordination With Baintelkam Polri Handi 12 Sepni Results Confiscated By KPK From The House Of Minister Of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has received 12 firearms (senpi) confiscated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) from the official residence of the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo. The handling will coordinate with Baintelkam Polri.

"Intelkam Polda Metro will coordinate with Baintelkam (Polri)," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to VOI, Friday, September 29.

However, it has not been clearly conveyed about the origin or ownership of the dozens of guns.

Trunoyudo has so far only emphasized that the steps to be taken are deepening and coordinating with the National Police's Baintelkam.

"It's still being investigated, it has to be checked, later, we'll just accept it, that's it first," said Trunoyudo.

As previously reported, the KPK found a gun while searching the official residence of the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo at Widya Chandra, South Jakarta. The search was carried out on 28-29 September 2023.

"That's right, there are (discoveries, red) senpi," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri.

Ali has not detailed the type of firearm. However, the investigative team found 12 pistols found.

During the search, investigators also found tens of billions of money consisting of foreign currency denominations and rupiah. This evidence will be analyzed to be confiscated if it relates to allegations of corruption being investigated.

The anti-corruption commission decided to investigate allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). The decision was taken after pocketing sufficient initial evidence.
