Opportunities For 2 Axis In The 2024 Presidential Election If PKB Changes The Course, Cak Imin: All On The Track

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the PKB as well as reading the Vice President of the Change Coalition, Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) responded casually to the statement by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, who mentioned the two axis opportunities in the 2024 presidential election if PKB changed its mind.

Cak Imin emphasized that his party would not withdraw support for Anies Baswedan and cooperation in the Change Coalition. Because he said, all preparations for the Anies-Cak Imin or Amin pair were still on track.

"Hahaha..., the important thing is that we prepare registration on the 19th morning, all of them are in the administrative process. God willing, everything is on the track," said Cak Imin in East Java, Thursday, September 28, evening.

Meanwhile, the candidate for the Coalition for Change Anies Baswedan also confirmed that the Amin pair would be the first pair to register with the General Elections Commission (KPU).

Anies said he and Cak Imin would register with the KPU on October 19, 2023 in the morning.

"We will announce it later. But what is clear is that God willing, 19 in the morning. Now it's Pasuruan's story first. Anyway, later," said Anies.

Previously, PDIP Chairman Djarot Saiful Hidayat said the chances of 2 axes in the 2024 presidential election could occur if PKB decided to leave the Change Coalition.

"It could be three axes, it could be two axes. It could be that Pak Ganjar will later compete with Pak Prabowo. If for example PKB changes its mind, right? It could also remain three axes, right, it could be two axes," said Djarot at the PDIP DPP Office, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 25.

But regardless of the axis formed, said Djarot, PDIP is ready and confident Ganjar can win one round.

"So our principle is PDIP, our two axes or three axes are ready. We are ready to fight so that one round can be completed. In such a way, the people who benefit are the nation and state from many aspects," said the member of Commission II of the DPR.
