PDIP: Two Axis Or Three Axis In The 2024 Presidential Election, We Are Ready To Fight

JAKARTA - The chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Djarot Saiful Hidayat confirmed that he was ready to win Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). Two or three pairs axes will not be a problem.

"So our principle is PDIP, we are ready for two axes or three axes," Djarot told reporters at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 25.

Djarot said that the possible axis of the candidate pair in the 2024 presidential election could change. Because, Ganjar could be paired with Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto or the National Awakening Party (PKB) changed his mind.

However, Djarot said whatever the final decision his party would be maximal.

"So that one round can be completed. In such a way, the ones who benefit are the nation and state from many aspects," he said.

In addition, Ganjar is also certain to run as a presidential candidate (candidate). This decision is absolute even though there is a discourse that this white-haired figure may be paired with Prabowo Subianto.

"Mr. Ganjar is automatically a presidential candidate, and we must appreciate that the Gerindra Party is adamant about Pak Prabowo as his presidential candidate," said Djarot.

Rumors about the two axiss of candidate pairs in the 2024 presidential election were mentioned by the Deputy Chairperson of the PKB, Jazilul Fawaid. According to him, in the registration of presidential and vice presidential candidates, there is a possibility that there will be only two pairs of candidates.

One of the axes, continued Jazilul, is the pair Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar promoted by the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB), and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS).

"I see it personally, there are not necessarily three axes, it could be two axes, we'll wait for it later," Jazilul said on Monday, September 18.
